Excellent Supplier Award, Construction, Machine and Equipment
Customer Service & Management Award
As general contractor on multiple projects across this four square mile jobsite, Aristeo was well positioned to serve Mazda Toyota Manufacturing in many capacities throughout this facility. Our award-winning reputation, strong relationship with Mazda Toyota Manufacturing and expertise with the intricacies onsite, allowed us to successfully, safely and efficiently manage and self perform projects in 50 percent of the jobsite’s buildings. Aristeo was honored by Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America with the Toyota Excellent Supplier Award because of our reputation as a safe and high quality contractor across Toyota Motor Manufacturing projects, including at this MTM facility.
Aristeo worked as both a general contractor and a self perform contractor at this new campus. Aristeo was the general contractor on all the foundations over the four square mile site, the stamping press weld, a 1,025,000 square foot facility that included 29,000 cubic yards of concrete, and many other projects. From our critical general contracting projects, to dozens of other projects – Aristeo has proven to be a safe, reliable and high quality contractor for Mazda Toyota Manufacturing.
Aristeo provided a variety of self perform services, including excavation, site paving, civil support, concrete foundations, pits, retaining walls, slab-on-grade, slab-on-deck, exterior pavement, structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection and more. These projects have included the stamping press and weld building, central office building, the green metals building, a supplier paint shop, liquid tank farm, two pre-engineered metal recycling buildings, sluice gates, electrical building, rail access and marshalling yard, audit building, security building and more.
Aristeo succeeded in maintaining the project schedule through required design changes and unexpected conditions. Additionally, the expansive job site provided some schedule challenges, however Aristeo precisely coordinated equipment and operators. The team also utilized our privately owned GPS-controlled equipment to help reduce time and material by only moving the required amount of material, minimizing material overruns, fuel usage and trucking costs for import and disposal charges. This innovative solution saved our clients time and money – preventing over-digging, backfilling with extra material and extra passes with the equipment.
