The Auto Club Group (ACG) renovated its Dearborn office to include an updated cafe, and a new Innovation Hub and Heritage Hallway to celebrate its 100-year heritage while updating the design to current styles and to boost employee morale with a fresh workspace.
Aristeo managed the renovation of the Innovation Hub and Heritage Hallway, which included the transformation of a hallway into a historical timeline showcasing the company’s hertitage, and converting two training rooms into three unique spaces. Aristeo also oversaw the renovation of the existing cafeteria to include new treatments and a new barista bar. As general contractor, Aristeo managed numerous subcontractors to ensure these projects finished on time and with an excellent safety record.
Within the Heritage Hallway, Aristeo administered the creation of 10 display bases, oversaw the building of 14 display boards and supervised the installation of 10,000 square feet of drywall. Aristeo also oversaw the demolition, renovation and steel installation of the Innovation Hub, including the complex installation of a curved glass wall. For the cafeteria, Aristeo oversaw the rebuilding of a barista bar, new ceiling and wall treatments, and installation of new appliances. In the cafeteria, Aristeo constructed a barista bar comprised of new tile flooring and walls. We also installed 1,100 square feet of wood grain styled porcelain tile throughout the cafeteria, new ceiling clouds and new light fixtures.
Working in an active office provided some challenges, however Aristeo completed the work with minimal disruption to the office employees by performing majority of the construction work outside of standard office hours. Aristeo installed a luxury bi-fold door comprised of anodized aluminum with a glass center, which is uniquely challenging. Thanks to careful coordination, the team installed the door seamlessly.
