Aristeo Intern Day in the Life

Aristeo internships offer real world experience, impactful mentorship and a chance for the next generation of construction to get their hands dirty with challenging projects across teams, including estimating, operations, accounting, safety and IT.

This year’s interns are spread across local and out-of-state jobsites, and our headquarters in Metro Detroit. All of our interns receive hands on experience, like completing daily site walkthroughs and safety audits for our operations and safety interns. Our estimating interns learn to interface with subcontractors for quotes, and complete their own takeoffs for bids. Our IT intern gets firsthand experience setting up servers and preparing incoming new hire’s equipment for the first day. All of our interns are trusted members of their teams and attend weekly meetings. They are also embedded in the culture via team lunches, Fun Fridays, field trips to new jobsites and an end of internship party to celebrate their time with Aristeo.

We pride ourselves on kicking off successful careers for dozens of interns with our paid and structured internships. They have the independence to tackle their own projects with guidance from their dedicated mentor. Throughout the three months they’re here, they learn key professional skills like organization, attention to detail, strong communication skills, new software and so much more. They’re also able to get into the groove of a typical 9-to-5 schedule as our internships are fulltime.
