The Walbridge – Aristeo Joint Venture was thrilled to receive the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Michigan Build Michigan Award for our work revitalizing the Stellantis Detroit Assembly Plant, the first assembly plant in Detroit in 30 years.
This award recognizes the excellence of an entire project team. Thanks to the combined efforts of WAJV, this 1.3 million work hour project was completed with no lost time injuries and within
the accelerated, 19-month timeframe.
The Associated General Contractors of America named the Walbridge – Aristeo Joint Venture Stellantis Detroit Assembly Plant Project as a Winner of a 2021 Construction Risk Partners Build America Merit Award in the Design-Build Building category.
Alongside our many project awards, Aristeo was honored to receive a 2020 AGC of Michigan Outstanding Safety Performance Silver Award. This award, in the General Contractor Division V (over 500,000 work hours) category, is determined by comparing injury incident rates as they relate to
the total amount of work hours.
Aristeo was honored to receive two American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Safety Awards for the fifth year in a row. The awards, the 2020 Fabricator Merit Award and the 2020 Erector Merit Award, reflect Aristeo’s excellent steel fabrication and erection safety record. These awards are awarded to companies with a DART (Days Away, Restricted or Transferred) rate of less than one.
