Ford Livonia Transmission - Concrete Projects - Aristeo Construction - Screen_Shot_2016-05-24_at_10

For the concrete slab project for Ford in Livonia our work began with demolition 800,000 SF of 8” concrete slab, removing 6” of sub base and removing all existing fumes and pit walls to four feet below the finish floor. After demolition, 6” of sub base and 800,000 SF of fiber reinforced 8” concrete were installed. Approximately 19,650 CY of concrete was placed for this project.

Aristeo completed the work using a GPS controlled laser screed with controls which provided Floor Levelness (FL) and Floor Flatness (FF) readings as high as FF96 and FL75, exceeding the project’s quality requirement.
