Aristeo was hired to renovate the second floor of the EECS building, which contains some of the most modern facilities available on any university campus for instruction and research in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Our team removed all finishes, ceilings, and walls prior to transforming the instructional lab and graduate studies rooms into modern spaces that can appropriately support the $60M of funded research performed annually.

During the tight three month schedule, our team added all new glass entrances and windows, ceiling systems, flooring, and electrical systems, lighting, mechanical upgrades, fire alarm upgrades, millwork and Corian countertops. Aristeo performed the renovation within a fully functioning building and very active campus. Our team’s first priority was the safety of all students and faculty at all times throughout the course of the project. In order to accomplish this, our team built temporary construction entrances within the building.

A projects’ success is directly proportional to the quality of the people on its team. I was lucky enough to be working with some of the absolute best. Every employee from the top on down was proactive, demonstrated safety awareness, exceptional job skills, and was willing to do what it takes to get the job done. General Motors Corporation
