Takeaways from Aristeo’s 2018 Safety Kickoff

Aristeo's 2018 Safety Kickoff brings field and office employees together to discuss safety goals for the upcoming year. More than 320 Aristeo employees recently gathered together for our 2018 Safety Kickoff on Saturday, January 20th. Because safety is such a fundamental part of our culture, as well as the foundation of our mission as a company, this event is especially important. The Safety Kickoff is an opportunity for both field and office employees to come together and celebrate our successes, and also have a collaborative conversation about the year to come.

We are proud of our safety record in 2017, and it is vital that we maintain our focus and drive so we can continue that trend throughout 2018 and beyond. Among our many priorities for the upcoming year, we will work to deepen our focus on all-encompassing safety practices, maintain our comprehensive subcontractor management, and continue to encourage all of our employees to be safety leaders.

In addition, the event also featured NCAA Division 1 Hall Athlete, Roger Crawford, as our keynote speaker. Crawford spoke to the company about his experiences fighting adversity in his own life, and inspired us to always move beyond “acceptable” safety to “exceptional” safety on the job.

Thank you again to all of the employees who attended our Safety Kickoff! Our employees constantly demonstrate exceptional dedication to safety on the job. It is through their individual efforts that Aristeo will make 2018 our safest and most productive year to date.

Aristeo worked on site for over a year in good and nasty weather and through it all the company and all employees maintained a positive and professional attitude. Everybody I spoke with stated they would be very happy to see Aristeo return at any time for another project. Greater Gratiot Development, Inc.
