One of the tenets of our business is to invest in the personal and professional development of our employees. That’s why, when many of our employees requested more training on Viewpoint Construction Software, a program used in our day-to-day operations, we responded with more than a simple training course. We created Aristeo University, a quarterly training program designed to teach new employees, from the field to the office, the basics of Viewpoint and help current employees polish their existing skillset.
Aristeo University’s inaugural conference, part of the paid professional development we offer all of our employees, was hosted just this last week. The conference featured 12 different classes, on topics varying from basics to more job-specific needs. The classes were offered multiple times over the course of five days in our headquarters, as well as online for remote access. Our goal was to do more than simply provide training – we wanted to create training that was useful and specific to how Aristeo utilizes the software, while also making it convenient for our employees to fit into their schedule.
Our first Aristeo University conference was a huge success – with over 100 individual attendees, we collectively logged over 500 training hours in a matter of days. Our employees are now equipped to be more efficient and productive in their daily duties.
