Aristeo, with the assistance of dozens of employee volunteers, donated 850 toys and assembled bikes to local children in need through two different charitable organizations this year.
Aristeo and Rush Trucking, two of the largest women-owned businesses in the state, collaborated to donate 250 bikes to The Salvation Army on Conner Street on Detroit’s East Side. Aristeo purchased the bikes and helmets, enlisting employees to help assemble each bike, while Rush Trucking provided trucking services to deliver the bikes and helmets to The Salvation Army.
In addition to the company’s donation to the Salvation Army, Aristeo also collected Toys for Tots donations from employees across our many locations. This year, Aristeo employees donated over 600 new, unwrapped toys. Aristeo’s team collected nearly half of the donations at one of our project locations in Allen Park, MI.
Aristeo is grateful for the support of our employees to give back to the community in such an impactful way, and thankful to Rush Trucking for their critical assistance in this project.
