Thomas Hill Energy Center Environmental Upgrade

The Thomas Hill Energy Center is comprised of three electrical generating units, built from 1966 to 1982 and totaling 1,153 megawatts, and a coal mine that is actively being reclaimed. To remain “green”, the owner is making the necessary investment for an environmental upgrade to the center. Aristeo Construction teamed with the designer and construction manager, Burns & McDonnell, for the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Program at the existing power plant.
