Aristeo Construction Company was awarded the design/build package for the Body Side Building Addition at Chicago Assembly Plant. The body shop addition ties into an existing structure over 1,000 lineal feet to accommodate construction of new 100’ x 66’ bays, which provide more open floor space in the plant. Serving as design/build general contractor, Aristeo performed all the planning, scheduling, subcontract bidding and award, and field supervision. All construction activities required careful coordination with plant personnel to maintain the schedule without interrupting ongoing plant operations.
